Andrew Detweiler, Founder and Licensed Broker

Andy Detweiler is a Rockville resident, a licensed real estate broker in the state of Maryland, and the founder of The Rockville Real Estate Exchange.

He possesses a long history of sales and marketing expertise in start-up and entrepreneurial environments.

A successful grant writer by trade, Mr. Detweiler moved to Rockville, MD in the mid 2000’s before making the switch to in-home consumer sales, quickly becoming top representative for his company’s six office locations.

From there, he spent five years in the Healthcare IT space, primarily at DrFirst.com – a start-up electronic prescribing company.

Despite no prior healthcare or IT experience, he became the number one enterprise sales representative at the company.

In 2013, he made the decision to stay home and care for his son while co-founding B2B Content Engine, Inc. – a bootstrapped technology start-up in the digital marketing space.

While the company never achieved product-market fit, Mr. Detweiler used this time to teach himself about search engine optimization, website development, lead generation, social media, content marketing, and many other related components of digital media.

After achieving his real estate license in 2015, he built rockvillemdcondos.com in early 2016, ultimately becoming a broker and implementing his full vision for The Rockville Real Estate Exchange in 2019.

Despite spending the overwhelming majority of his time researching, developing processes, and building his technology and content stack, Mr. Detweiler has already personally represented clients in over 100 real estate transactions – the majority of which took place in Rockville – all while working without a local sphere-of-influence.

Originally hailing from Central Pennsylvania and humble beginnings, Andy maintains a tireless work ethic and never-ending desire to learn.

Abel Macias

Abel Macias, Marketing Consultant and Digital Strategist

Abel Macias is the founder and owner of Tier 1 Marketing, specializing in real estate advertising and lead generation.

He possesses over six years of experience and success in highly competitive markets, currently focusing on optimizing sales funnels built on the ClickFunnels platform (a key component of the Rockville Real Estate Exchange technology stack).

Mr. Macias is a Google certified PPC account managing specialist and data analyst.

He holds additional Google certifications in both AdWords and Display and possesses a similarly strong track record in social media marketing (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter); email marketing; marketing automation; and, customer insights.

With the Rockville Real Estate Exchange, Abel has been instrumental in helping design the company’s front-end technology stack, as well as its client property promotion strategies.

Ryan Krause, Technical Lead

Ryan Krause is the founder and owner of Greater Minds, LLC, a strategic business development company  with expertise in web design, web development, and web analytics.

With over 18 years in information technology,  Ryan’s CMS and eCommerce expertise includes WordPress, Joomla,WooCommerce, Magento, and Virtuemar  while his web development knowledge spans over HTML5, XHTML, PHP, and more.

Serving as the lead technical partner for the Rockville Real Estate exchange, Ryan successfully keeps the site running without interruption while offering additional insights on analytics and consumer usage.

His efforts were paramount in transitioning the company’s original site, rockvillemdcondos.com, over to its current state.

While spending ten years helping multi-family apartments open up for business, Beverly was always the “new person” in town.

She has lived in and helped relocate over 1,000 families to Maryland, Missouri, Ohio, Kentucky, Kansas, DC, and Michigan.

You can say she truly loves the process of helping people find a great place to live.

Notably, The Rockville Real Estate Exchange helped Beverly quickly get to know the area when she relocated to Rockville herself.

As the Apartment Relocation Director and a licensed agent, Beverly now aims to bring the same seamless experience to buyers, sellers, and renters alike.

Kenny Kasnett

Kenny Kasnett, Growth and Budgeting

Spanning 35 years in the Real Estate and Financial Services Industries, Kenny’s career highlights include co-founding a top-10 Washington Metro Area Mortgage Banking firm and helping build one of the premier home building operations in the DC Metropolitan area.

In the aforementioned roles, Kenny was primarily responsible for advancing the positive growth and development of business.

As a consultant to the Rockville Real Estate Exchange, he is doing the same.

Harvey Jacobs is the founder of Jacobs & Associates, Attorneys at Law, LLC, which provides creative, cost effective and cutting-edge solutions for corporate, real estate, and high-tech clients.

Mr. Jacobs’ expertise includes Residential and Commercial Settlements, Business Formation, Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions, Contracts, Internet Law, Trademarks/Copyrights, Netpreneurship, and Education.

He received his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from The George Washington University (1980) and his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School (1983).

In addition to a litany of publications and awards, Mr. Jacobs has been writing The House Lawyer column for The Washington Post since 2009 and also appeared on the cover of Wired magazine.
